Oban Backpackers Hostel

the check-in process was smooth, even though I arrived late due to train disruptions. Camila, the staff member, was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. the hostel also allowed me to leave my luggage after check-out, which was a big help. the experience was wonderful, and I would definitely consider staying at this hostel again. Cons: Nothing to complain about, everything was good.

Convenient location, well-maintained with hot showers. Helpful staff handled a group disturbance effectively. Comfortable lounge open 24/7, perfect for a hot chocolate. Spacious kitchen equipped with everything needed for meal prep. Impressive showers, especially for Scotland.

WiFi could have been better, making it difficult to stay connected. . the hostel has a curfew time, which can be inconvenient if you need to go out late.

This hostel exceeded our expectations with its excellent service and warm welcome. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our late check-in and even helped us with travel arrangements when our train was canceled. the beds were comfortable and the hostel provided free hot drinks. the continental breakfast with homemade scones was a great value at only £2.

The showers were a bit difficult to adjust, resulting in occasional burns.

We had a fantastic stay at the hostel in close proximity to the town of Oban. the friendly staff at Backpackers were always there to help and provide great recommendations for things to do in the area. the common areas were a great place to connect with fellow travelers and make new friends from around the world. the bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience staying at this hostel. Cons: Everything we needed and wanted was provided. 👍.
